If there’s one thing about social media, it’s that it never stops changing—and honestly, keeping up can feel like a full-time job. But since we don’t want our content getting buried in the algorithm, we do our best to adapt. And now, Instagram has launched Trial Reels.

When we first saw it, we had questions: What is this? Is it worth using? Will it finally push our content to more people instead of just our moms and our most loyal internet besties? So, of course, we tested it out.

What We Learned:

Trial Reels have their own separate algorithm—they’re only shown to non-followers, not your existing audience. Instagram actually pushes them to a completely new audience, making it an incredible way to get fresh eyes on your content. Basically, it’s like the algorithm is finally working for you instead of against you. 🙌
