We may not fully grasp the algorithm, but we can understand a few aspects of it.

Social Media Algorithms

(00:00:09): Essentially, here's how the algorithm works: you post a video, and it's shown to a select group of people who may fit a certain demographic or interest level.

These viewers either watch the video or they don't; they may like, comment, or save it, or they may not.

Based on their actions, the video is then shown to more people.

If 10 people see the video and 9 scroll past while only one engages with it, the algorithm will determine that the video is less interesting and will show it to fewer followers.

However, if all the viewers like, engage, and comment, the algorithm will recognize that the video is well-received and will push it out to a larger audience.

Engagement and Niche Focus

(00:00:46): Engagement is key. The challenge with social media isn't the algorithm; it's us. We face varying levels of interest and contend with people who have short attention spans.

Constantly creating content that captures these fleeting interests across a broad audience can be difficult.

This is why it’s important to stay focused on your niche.
